Kicking things off with the latest on Reading festival. Weekend and day tickets are still available! With payment plans available on selected tickets you can pay for your festival experience in 3 separate instalments. This great news means that there really isn’t anything stopping you from clicking the mouse and having a great weekend. With Lewis Capaldi coming to the main stage on the Saturday night, A great watch would be his new Netflix Documentary: How I’m Feeling Now. Covering the story of a young lad playing his music, to the biggest selling UK artist in 2019 and 2020 all whilst suffering panic attacks, anxiety and how these played on his rise to stardom. A watch that will make his performance this summer all that bit more special, I would highly recommend. You might have to hop on to Spotify to find the Reading & Leeds 2023 official playlist. Holding music from almost all of the artists that are performing is a great listen to hear some favourites and have a listen to knew artists you may want to go and see live. And finally, no dropouts from any artist have been announced recently or no changes to the schedule to fingers crossed to see what happens. Remember to check in here to get the latest news on all festivals.
Beginning with the sad news first, Tickets for Glastonbury have all gone. As expected by all with the years of waiting lists and number of people who want to go, the tickets were always going to be gone fast. Although a lot of us will be watching from home, the line-ups are still as important as ever. for this year’s Glastonbury festival, a full official line-up hasn’t been released yet. Although there are countless confirmed acts there are still many stages and crowds to fill around the arena. Some acts such as 24hr Garage Girls and Abandon have confirmed they are playing however this hasn’t been confirmed by officials at Glastonbury. This therefore leaves the door open for many acts to still potentially step in at the last at any point leading up to the festival. Some strong rumours to take to one of the many stages include the likes of: Hamish Hawk, Hozier and the DJ set of The Chemical Brothers to name a few. With some of these names and many others, you have to remember one thing, anything can happen. So, keep an open mind and make sure to enjoy whoever is performing because Glastonbury 2023 only happens once.
